one word and that is: creepy

is it just me or are people who ride on motorized scooters, more often times than not, totally out of their fucking minds?? it seems to me that by the time you can justify to yourself that you need to ride around in a scooter, you are insane. or severely obese. at least i can see some what rationalize why a fat person can’t get around and may need a scooter-if you’re over 350 lbs that’s a lot of weight for two out-of-shape legs to move. the majority of the people on these things though are people who shouldn’t even be allowed to have a bicycle! they parade around like napoleon on 4 wheels, commanding the attention of all in their presence. case in point: this past weekend at petco i came across a man on scooter with a blind dog on his lap with its tongue hanging permanently (you know, so dried it out it looks like a lifeless piece of pink jerky), speeding thru the aisles like a bat out of hell. i managed to take a picture of him while he was weaving thru the checkout line directing traffic and calling the cashiers by their first name.
